We are looking for part-time, adjunct faculty members to teach a lower and
upper division communication courses, including Speech Communication classes (a
General Education course requirement at HSU). Providing face-to-face
instruction is preferred but providing online instruction may be possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach undergraduate courses in Communication.
Demonstrate effective teaching
strategies by planning and implementing a variety of teaching methods as well
Maintain accurate records and
documents, submit timely reports, and be responsive to students.
Records/documents include but are not limited to syllabi and grades.

Master’s Degree + 18 graduate hours in communication
or equivalent field is required. A doctoral degree in Communication is preferred.
Teaching experience is preferred.
