Assists with recruiting qualified student
athletes for acceptance into Hardin-Simmons University within guidelines set by
the University. This includes identifying, evaluating, developing
relationships, and initiating application submission.
Assists with development and
implementation of a program which includes monitoring academic progress in
addition to athletic performance.
Demonstrates a working
knowledge of the American Southwest Conference, and University rules and
regulations.
Conducts program in
compliance with ASC and NCAA rules and regulations.
Organizes camps and
clinics to promote said sport, public interest, and community involvement with
the University.
Assists with team travel including hotel reservations, ground transportation, and
meal arrangements.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's
degree from a four-year college or university is required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Current
CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications required (or must be obtained).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This is a Part-Time/No Benefits, Non-Exempt/Hourly Staff
Position which is seasonal.
This position will be scheduled for an “average” of 15 – 19
hours per week. The weekly schedule will vary with less hours scheduled during
the off season vs. baseball season.
Non-Exempt/Hourly employees who work beyond 40 hours during a
single work week will be compensated at time and a half, per FLSA guidelines.
Must be able to
drive to complete work assignments on, as needed.
Travel and irregular
hours are required during peak season.
Must have and
maintain a valid Class C Driver’s License and maintain a clear driving record
to be insurable under the university liability policy.
