SUMMARY/SCOPE: We are looking for a part-time, adjunct faculty to teach Computer Science courses. The Computer Science department is in the Holland School of Sciences and Mathematics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adjunct instructor for computer science courses that include topics such
as Java programming, data structures, assembly language, web programming (front
and back end), networking, and cybersecurity.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
At least a Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in Computer Science,
Cybersecurity, or similar discipline.

None are required for this position at this time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The
job is sedentary in nature. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of
time while performing office and computer operations.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This
position is a part-time/temp adjunct position (no more than 29 hours per week)
with teaching load at the Hardin-Simmons University campus.
Must
be a resident of the state of Texas.
